Over a couple of days in August 2016 Shepard Fairey painted a socia justice mural on our 701 Alabama Street location. It captures Fannie Lee Chaney, a Black civil rights activist, on the day she found out that her son and two of his friends were murdered by the Ku Klux Klan for registering Black voters. Great Presentation Questions 1. What is the distance from Airdrop (1) to Point (5 )( Approach Landing) 2. You only use a lightweight battery for the servos, gps and flight controller to glide the drone point 1 to 5 & 6. In doing so, you use the big battery space for payload. The millions dollar question A) what is the altitude to drop off UAV to achieve the desire distance point 1 to Point 6????? (B) ( center of Gravity stay the same for the UAV) ??
Is it possible to make 4 seater?
Hello Otherlab, we make educational videos showing how certain coasters/elements work on rides. May we have your permission to use parts of this video for an upcoming video with proper and visible credit to you? If we may or may not, please let us know soon at your earliest convenience. Thank you, Coaster Labs
LOL@ "we'll have to do things like light them on fire and shoot them with bullets. I'm REALLY excited!" Dudes...sign me up and THEN start charging for admission to that test. #fundraisingSOLVED
"full chooch" lol...was that an AvE reference? .. nice work team.
Wow, very interesting pump. A bit like a peristaltic pump but without rollers...
very very interesting robot!Do you have some publications? I want to know more about this job.
These pneumatic "exoskeletons" may seem really impressive and as usual in this age of sales of marketing, get hyped to outer space. But as someone who has done some genuine research on exoskeleton tech, I am acutely aware of the significant limitations posed by pneumatic actuators. They are non-linear and tend to suffer from poor position and actuation force precision. However, completely soft bodied pneumatic actuators do have the advantage of compliance. The designs shown here will most likely be best suited for providing finite amounts of joint support, but getting them to say, restore precision movement necessary for precise positioning or precise force generation is unrealistic to say the least.

useless
Really exciting stuff! Could you comment briefly on the hardware necessary to power these exos with pressured air? Thanks!
wow!
It will be interesting to see how this technology develops over the next 5, 10, 20 years and how it changes the lives of everyday people, the workplace, and military.
awesome! Long long ago I envisioned this tech while trying to figure out how to build the giant peace keeping robots to keep you and the darpa militards at bay. They have to be enormous but they also have to fly of course. Ideally it would have to fly up to the white house and use it as a chair. Then it should burn a picture of mickey mouse into the lawn using its death rays but that is an entirely different story for a different time. The issue is that the scale of using the white house as a chair is actually rather small and hard to engineer. Except from flexible joints of course the ideal material for the limbs is still a solid. If you make them a few km thick all you have to do is pump the air out in order to make it lift off. But you can use helium for your tiny. Hot hydrogen gas should work too! Maybe you can encourage darpa to try that. Some day in the not to distant future this stuff will be used on wimmen and children in the 3rd world to further progress our neoliberal "ideals". Imagine all the profit to be made from giant hands growping people from the sky. Seems a hell of a lot cheaper than blowing stuff up. Or shall we say leverage? The moral of the story is that bigger is better! Keep up the good work!

To those who are posting how "your car is likely to explode" and it's a "time bomb"... we already have natural gas powered vehicles and they are generally much safer than gasoline powered cars. Hundreds of thousands of gasoline cars catch fire every year... and gasoline is very explosive. Just because a fuel is gaseous does not mean it is more dangerous.
How do I get one?
Make one yourself :-). Test your mechanics without body.
Proof that Saul is smarter than me. I went to the bar and decided to start a robotics company, he built a robot to bring the bar to him.
Haha, so fun. Are there plans to use kinect to control it? Perhaps with some inverse kinematics to compensate for the limited motion range.
Nooo! I was rooting for yellow!
Please, how to contact you regarding this Hydraulic Knee Brace?
Is this program available? Looks really fun!
CO2 is not pollution. Greenhouses are not bad.
which is what i meant, i didn't say that fuel tanks could instantly incinerate without any malfunction. finally somebody that can give an answer. you could learn something from this guy @TheValvesupports, if you haven't got a straight answer, but already seek the faults in other peoples questions, then be quiet.
fuel tanks are designed to not explode, just as GNV tanks, during inpact. But both can catch fire and explode if leaking near a heat source.
this is stupid because intestines evolved to increase the surface area to volume ratio so you're wasting space and making the car weigh more per volume of gas also putting it in that spot is hazardous and risky
Grate concept but the length of it, statistically the chance of rupture will increase and besides that if it were to rupture it would be very costly to replace, and it would also be technically hard to patent the idea due to the fact that its just a gas tank. But most of the problems can be simply solved.
Ya until the damn thing blows up
I already know the answer, I just want to hear it being explained from the mind of an 8-year old, which strangely is the same as your IQ. Do you even know how a combustion engine works? So, just to rehearse the the first question: why would a fuel tank not be able to explode?
Ya too bad if u get in an accident, you and every one else around you are going to explode or go up in flames. Not a very smart idea at all idiots.
yep, reminds me of the Ford Pinto and the Crown Victoria (opps another Ford)
Well is a solution but I don't think that’s the best of ideas. Why not a car that is a true multifuel hybrid. It can burn NG and also regular gasoline. But this idea works better with larger cars (such as the Chrysler 300 or better yet a pick-up like the Ram) due to more space in the trunk of the car.
You know since Valvesupports is a fellow European . I'm sure you can find smarter people from the "netherlands" than ass wipes like him.
You still haven't answered my question, which tells me that you either are ignoring my previous question, or that you simply don't know the answer, thus you interupted my conversation with another man without knowing anything about the topic yourself. Since you were referring to the show 'Mythbuster' i simply think you don't know shit about the topic. And for the record, i don't use all day in front of my computer, and since your username is thevalvesupports you should just keep your mouth shut.
@raul937 Oh good to see ya again.....yes I'm still modeling part time
how about you do a video on how clean the fracking process is to huh?
So it's a lot more dangerous
And I would hate to work on that fuel system
I'm an automotive technician
So when you say that i have to do something with my life, do you mean to sit on my ass on the couch, watching 'mythbusters' all day like you clearly do? And what part of an exploding fuel tank seems not to be able to work?
Smart. Who would've thought of that.
@erik413 Heyya good to see ya again.....yep my tits are okay too, thanks for asking, lulz
Wow... I hope someone high up in the gov sees this.. Check out my channel at Chuck Norris.
...And fuel tanks can't do that either?
nice... but gas tanks explode right?
well to make electricity you need to burn coal or thats how they do it where i live. and by burning coal and then transporting it to ur house where u charge ur car it reduces how much power/energy/go inur car u get. and using electricity for ur car is more wasteful than gasoline so yeah
Why don't we just use electric cars instead natural gas .
Nat gas releases methane which captures uv rays 20x more than co2.
the idea of H2 instead of petrol i like more. moreover this, the is much H2 in the space, we just should learn how to get it.
